Michael Edwardes

Founded by Michael Edwardes in the centre of Bath, City to Country offers a bespoke buying service for discerning purchasers looking to move to the country.

Michael was born in Wiltshire and has direct experience of relocating himself; having moved from south west London and is now established outside Bath where he currently lives with his family and their pet dog and cat.

He spent over 15 years engaged in the property market with Savills, and Farleys working in and around prime central London. And was part of the team that helped establish Savills in West Kensington and worked with first time buyers of flats and houses, in the process learning the intricacies of how the property market functioned.

At Farleys he dealt with homes in the range of approximately £500,000 – £2 million and had a client base that was international as well as domestic. These individuals came from a raft of different backgrounds including: law, media, the City and just about every other profession you can think of. He then established himself in Chippenham, near Bath, selling country houses.

It is this wealth of experience and background that Michael and City to Country bring to the table.
